Challenge Everest Newcastle

We are challenging you to get involved in Challenge Everest Newcastle 2019.

With your fellow students, in teams of 5, you will compete to achieve the greatest number of ascents to win the challenge! Whether you are an experienced climber or a first timer, we challenge you to climb the height of Everest to fundraise for the PSU. You will complete the climbs in tag team drills (one person ascend, descend then pass it on to the next climber in your team). Join this fun fundraiser event today. Each team member will be asked to raise £100 each for the Newcastle PSU. As you complete the climbs your individual team will be counted off the heights of mountains across the globe…

Scarfell Pike (England) Iceberg Peak (Canada) Mount Olympus (Greece) Mount Kinabalu (Borneo) Mont Blanc (France/Italy) Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) San Pedro (Chile) Barunste (Nepal). To see if as a collective group you can climb the height of Everest to achieve 8848m!
